Woman is the greatest creation of god. He wanted somebody who can handle multiple roles at the same time. A woman – a mother,  a daughter, a sister, a wife, a working professional – is like the main pillar of the structure – without which the entire structure crumbles and withers away. She is like the Power Generator of our Engine-Life. She gives so much but gets so little in return. It is the duty of one and all to respect the freedom of a woman.

But in recent days we all should be ashamed of ourselves seeing the kind of treatment imparted to a woman in certain parts of the world. Some people cross the barrier of dignity and make a woman go through hell without even once realising the fact that they are alive in this world because of a woman. On this women’s day let us all take a pledge to love, respect, help and support women in whatever they set out to achieve in life.

The Indian Government has launched many good schemes for girl children and one among them is “Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts”.  This is a very good scheme with rate of interest of 9.2% per annum. A minimum of INR. 1000/- and a maximum of INR. 1,50,000/- in a financial year can be deposited in this account. Do enroll for these schemes so that parents’ burden of education and marriage expenses can be reduced. Please do spread the word so that everyone can be benefited with this.

International Women’s Day (IWD), also called International Working Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year. In different regions, the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women’s economic, political, and social achievements.

There was a time when a woman was thought to do only household works and was not allowed to step out of the four walls around her. She was treated as showcase stuff. But with time, our beautiful, soft and the so called ‘weak’ women have proved their ability and have started contributing to the development of this country.
