Republic Day 2017 Nail Art!

Hello friends!

Happy Republic Day!!

Republic day in India is celebrated every year with great honor on 26th of January to honor the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950. It had replaced the Government of India Act, 1935 into the governing document of the India. At this day, a national holiday is declared by the Indian Government. The new Indian constitution was sketched and approved by the Indian Constituent Assembly and decided to celebrate it on 26th of January every year as India became a republic country. This year India is celebrating its 68th Republic Day.

The chief guest on Republic Day of India 2017 will be Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Following are the special to be happened on Republic Day of India in New Delhi in 2017:

  • The crown prince of Abu Dhabi (Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan) will be the chief guest on 26th of January 2017 (Republic Day Parade of India) at Rajpath, New Delhi.
  • Skill India and Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao are themes for 68th Republic Day tableaux.
  • The venue of Republic Day Parade, Rajpath will be decorated with rows of potted plants of Date Palm (Pyramid like structure of palm leaves covered with moss) to heartily welcome the guest from UAE. UAE is one of the top cultivators of date palm all over the world and dates are its national fruit. UAE also hosts an annual International Date Palm Festival.
  • There is also a surprising debut show at Rajpath performed by the National Security Guard (NSG – a team of 140 commandos) on this Republic Day to represent their brilliant skills during the parade. The surprising debut by NSG will include activities like singing the NSG anthem (written by Gulzaar – “Hain Na Hai Na Hum Hindustan, Hum Rang Rang Hain, Phir Bhi Sang Hain”) to show the India’s counter terror force, a performance by anti-hijack team, anti-sabotage team, Combat free-fallers, CBRNE team (an advanced terror fighting force of commandos wearing radiation protective suit for protection from chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear terror threats or attack), and deep divers (can kill enemies under water).
  • There is also a debut of an NSG vehicle is (Sherpa – a bullet proof armoured anti hijacking vehicle). It is itself a commando, can resist powerful explosions and go under water too.

Missa Bella Mani Bombs

Benefits?

Mani bomb texture itself attracts! Believe or not I felt like eating them!! They look like macarons! Fragrance gives the best aroma therapy and releases all your stress. It helps in exfoliating the dead skin cells and softens your hand/feet. If bought from a good manufacturer it can very well moisturize your hand/feet. Along with these benefits few mani bombs depending upon the ingradients used, can even heal the muscle aches!! isn’t it amazing product?! Yes! that’s why asked you to try out. 🙂

Where to buy?

There are many Indian manufacturers as well as resellers. I bought it from a Mumbai based manufacturer Divvya Malaviya. Her brand name is Missa Bella. Amazing handmade mani bombs she has. Rejoicing flavors and best ingradients used. Loved the packaging too! Rose, orange, acqua, froasted citrus, mimosa, zesty lemon and many more flavors she has. You can contact her on her Instagram account @missa_bella.

I have done a video on my haul from her. At the end of the video there is a tutorial for directions to use. Do watch it 🙂

Did this post help you? Last but not least don’t put nail polish on the same day. Give time for oil to soak into nails and hand. But if you want to apply nail polish soon after using mani bomb then don’t forget to wipe the oil from nail bed with polish remover. Otherwise nail polish may peel off.

Do use Missa Bella mani bombs and let Creative Nails know your experience. 🙂

Hello friends!

Creative Nails wishes you a Happy New Year!!

May all the goals that you have set for yourself in the near future attain success in the upcoming year itself!

Today’s nail art was done for a nail art challenge on Instagram hosted by AdultsColoringBookNails. Challenge was to use WHITE as base color and do the stamping with BLACK. Unfortunately my black stamping polish order did not reach me yet so I did freehand and asked Milpa of AdultsColoringBookNails if I can submit it. She liked it and included in challenge collage. Here is the collage done by Milpa.

Children’s Day 2016 – Smooshy Nail Art!

Hello friends!

Happy Children’s Day to child inside you!

Children’s Day is recognized on various days in many places around the world to honour children globally. Children’s Day began the second Sunday of June in 1856 by the Reverend Dr. Charles Leonard, pastor of the Universalist Church of the Redeemer in Chelsea, Mass. That Sunday of June Dr. Leonard held a special service just for children to Dedicate them. Dr. Leonard christened the day, Rose Day. Later it was named Flower Sunday. Still later the second Sunday of the month of July was named Children’s Day.

The International Day for Protection of Children is observed in many countries as Children’s Day on 1 June since 1950. It was established by the Women’s International Democratic Federation on its congress in Moscow (4 November 1949). Major global variants include a Universal Children’s Day on 20 November, by United Nations recommendation.

Children’s day (also known as Bal Divas) in India is celebrated every year on 14th of November to increase the awareness of people towards the rights, care and education of children. Children are the key of success and development of the country as they would lead their country in different and new technological way. They are adorable and shine same like the precious pearls. Children are the God gifts to their parents by the almighty. They are innocent, admirable, pure and loved by everyone.

14th of November (birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru) has been set to celebrate as children’s day all over the India. 14th of November is the birth date of the first Indian prime minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He became the prime minister of India just after the independence of India. The Children’s Day is celebrated every year to let the people specially parents aware about the importance of celebrating this day.

Why Children’s Day is Celebrated

The birthday of Chacha Nehru, a great Indian leader, is celebrated as Children’s Day. He worked great for the well being of children as well as youngsters after the independence of India. He worked so much for the education, progress and welfare of the children of India. He was very affectionate towards children and became famous as Chacha Nehru among them. For the progress and development of the youth of India, he had established various educational institutions such as Indian Institutes of Technology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Indian Institutes of Management.

He made a five year plan which includes free primary education, free meals including milk to the school children in order to prevent children from malnutrition in India. The deep love and fervor of Chacha Nehru towards the children is the big reason of celebrating the Children’s Day at his birthday anniversary.

The childhood is the great moments in the life of everybody which should be necessarily given a right track to become successful in the future as an asset of the country. Without the right track they may miss living a good life. This can be done only by giving a right education, care and way to progress.

About Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was a great leader of India and led the India as a first prime minister of India just after getting the independence in 1947. He was born on 4th of November in the year 1889 to the renowned lawyer, Mr. Motilal Nehru and Swaroop Rani in the Allahabad. Because of being very brilliant he was named as Jawaharlal. He got his later education from the England and after returning to India he started helping Indians and struggle for independence of  India. After independence of the India he became the first prime minister of the India. He was also a great poet; some of his famous writings are ‘Glimpses of World History’, ‘Discovery of India’ and etc.

He was really fond of children as well as roses that’s he said that children are like the buds of the garden. He said that children are the country’s actual strength as they would make developed society in future.

Safe Diwali 2016 Nail Art!

Hello friends!

“Creative Nails” wishes you a very “Happy Diwali” !!

Diwali dates back to ancient times in India, as a festival after the summer harvest in the Hindu calendar month of Kartika. The festival is mentioned in Sanskrit texts such as the Padma Purana, the Skanda Purana both completed in second half of 1st millennium AD but believed to have been expanded from a core text from an earlier era. The diyas (lamps) are mentioned in Skanda Purana to symbolically represent parts of sun, the cosmic giver of light and energy to all life, who seasonally transitions in the Hindu calendar month of Kartik.

Hindus in some regions of India associate Diwali with the legend of Yama and Nachiketa on Kartika amavasya (Diwali night). The Nachiketa story about right versus wrong, true wealth versus transient wealth, knowledge versus ignorance is recorded in Katha Upanishad composed in 1st millennium BC.

King Harsha in the 7th century Sanskrit play Nagananda mentions Deepavali as Deepapratipadutsava (Deepa = light, pratipada = first day, utsava = festival), where lamps were lit and newly engaged brides and grooms were given gifts. Rajasekhara referred to Deepavali as Dipamalika in his 9th century Kavyamimamsa, where in he mentions the tradition of homes being whitewashed and oil lamps decorating homes, streets and markets in the night. The Persian traveller and historian Al Biruni, in his 11th century memoir on India, wrote Deepavali being celebrated by Hindus on New Moon day of the month of Kartika.

Diwali symbolise the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, hope over despair. Continuing the theme of safe Diwali, this year also Creative Nails has come up with diyas to light up your nails.
