I am trying out new things in nail art. This time, it’s the turn of Velvet Nail Dust. I just tried using it and created a simple nail art. I thought of sharing it with you all so that you too can decorate your nails with velvet dust.
Step 1: Apply two coats of base color.
Step 2: Before it gets dried sprinkle the velvet dust on your nail.
Step 3: Slightly tap on the velvety dust so that it adheres to the surface of the nail.
Step 4: Remove the excess velvet dust using a fan brush. Don’t worry if you don’t have a fan brush. Just hold your fingers upside down and tap on them. The excess dust will fall off. Wipe clean the edges of the nails with cotton.

As we all know that the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India. We are celebrating 26th January since then as the Republic Day and this year we are celebrating 66th Republic Day of our country!
The main Republic Day celebration is held in the national capital, New Delhi, at the Rajpath before the Hon’ble President of India. On this day, ceremonious parades take place at the Rajpath, which are performed as a tribute to India. Creative nails also want to celebrate this day and give tribute to India.
US President Barack Obama, accepted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invite to be the chief guest at India’s 66th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2015. This is seen as a diplomatic victory for the new NDA government in India.

I have something new to share with you. 🙂 Recently my friend had come from US. She knows that I am crazy about nail art. So she gifted me a bottle of Sally Hansen’s nail polish. Now you might be asking what’s special about it that am sharing it with you all. Yes it was special for me as I haven’t used MAGNETIC nail polish before. Yes you heard me right. Its magnetic nail polish which creates unique pre-defined patterns on the nail!
How to apply magnetic nail polish?
Step 1: Apply a thicker layer of magnetic nail polish to one nail.
Step 2: Before it dries hold the magnet in the cap of the bottle just above your nail.
Your pattern is ready!! :-). If required apply a top coat of clear nail polish.
